You can not go anywhere these days without hearing something about your "tribe." Do you KNOW if you even HAVE a Tribe or if you do, WHO they are?

"YOU KNOW, THE ONES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL THE MOST YOU. THE ONES THAT LIFT YOU UP AND HELP YOU REMEMBER WHO YOU REALLY ARE. THE ONES THAT REMIND YOU THAT A BLIP IN THE ROAD IS JUST THAT, A BLIP. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT WHEN YOU WALK OUT OF A ROOM, THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A BETTER PERSON THAN WHEN YOU WALKED IN. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT EVEN IF YOU DON'T SEE THEM FACE TO FACE AS OFTEN AS YOU'D LIKE, YOU SEE THEM HEART TO HEART. YOU KNOW, THAT KIND OF TRIBE?

Recently, the RSP (Really Smart People) will tell you that you are the sum total of the 5 people you spend the most time with aside from your workplace. I hope you are happy with them because they SHOULD be your tribe. I know I am happy with mine. I can not spend enough time with them. They REALLY get me, they understand all of me, and somehow STILL love me! Please take stock of YOUR top 5 and make sure they reflect who YOU want in your life and act how YOU want to be reflective of you and that they would ALWAYS have your back, no matter what.
My tribe loves me, celebrates all my life successes,  prays for me or my family when we need it, corrects me when I am wrong and forgives me anyway, bottom line is I know they are just a phone call away!

So....take stock and FIND YOUR TRIBE!

To Act or Not To Act?

Today I was in my car, again listening to a SUCCESS Magazine DVD and Seth Godin was one of the contributors. He was talking about the importance of marketing NOW, not tomorrow...not next week...but NOW before any more time elapses. Is procrastination killing you? Confessions of a Tired Caterer; Burned to a Crisp

Recently, after 8 years of owning my own catering business, Tea 'n Mystery, I announced I was retiring on June 3. I am quite happy with my decision, but it has surprised so many people.....I am surprised. Of course, the ones that were the most surprised never actually worked alongside me...so they never actually experienced all the highs and lows of this business. Truly, I can say to you....unless you are in the ditch digging business...you have probably never worked that hard physically in your life!
